AARON WILKENS

HEAD COACH

Coach Wilkens is serving his tenth season as the head coach of the Norcross High School Baseball program. He has led the Blue Devils to the playoffs in all but two of his seasons at the helm, including a Region Championship in 2021. Last season, Coach Wilkens earned his 200th victory as a head coach.

Coach Wilkens previously coached at Northview High School in Johns Creek, GA. While at Northview, Coach Wilkens led the team to the most wins and highest winning percentage in a season, longest winning streak, and two state playoff berths.

Coach Wilkens was born and raised in California and graduated from Vista High School where he was a four-year varsity starter. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on a baseball scholarship where he was part of the 1999 Big Ten Tournament Championship Team. While at Michigan, he received a BA in English and Psychology. He later earned his Master’s in Education from National University in San Diego, California. In addition to his head coaching duties, Coach Wilkens teaches in the Physical Education Department.

Coach Wilkens and his wife, Vicky, have two daughters, Kennedy (15) and Addie (13). They live in East Cobb with their French Mastiff (Biggie) and Old English Bulldog (Smalls).
